Wedding Settings

Overview

Wedding Settings ("Settings" in the wedding's sidebar menu) is the foundation of your wedding. Everything else — guest communication, your public website, RSVP links — references the details you set here.

Access it from the sidebar under your wedding name.

Partner names & dates

Set the names of both partners — these appear throughout the app wherever a "side" is referenced (e.g. guests can be assigned to Partner 1's side, Partner 2's side, or Joint).

You can mark the date as TBC if you haven't confirmed it yet. When you're ready, pick a start date from the date picker. The date must be in the future.

Your wedding site address (alias)

The alias is the subdomain for your public wedding website — for example, setting john-jane would give you a site at john-jane.be-part-of-our.wedding.

{info} The alias is checked for availability in real time as you type. A green indicator means it's free to use.

{warning} Changing your alias after you've already invited guests will break the site and RSVP links in their invitations.

Multi-day weddings

If your wedding spans more than one day (e.g. a weekend celebration), toggle Multi-day event on and set both a start and end date.

Timezone

Set the timezone for your wedding location. This ensures that times shown on your wedding site and in communications are correct for your guests, wherever they're viewing from.
