Save the Date


Overview

Save the Date lets you send early notices to your guests before formal invitations go out. Messages are sent to guest groups, using the contact address (email or phone) you've set on each group.

Templates

Templates are reusable message designs you create once and use across multiple sends. Switch to the Templates tab to create or manage them.

A template typically includes:

  • A subject line (for email)
  • The message body — you can include personalisation tokens for the guest's name
  • Any attached files from your file library

{info} You'll need at least one template before you can send a Save the Date message.

Sending a message

From the Messages tab, click New Message and:

  1. Choose a template
  2. Select the recipient — either a specific guest group or an individual guest
  3. Preview and confirm

The message is sent immediately using the contact address on the group.

{warning} Messages cannot be unsent. Double-check the recipient and template before confirming.

Tracking sent messages

The Messages tab shows a log of all Save the Date messages that have been sent, including who received them and when. Click a message row to see its full details.
